The teaching wave of the future is here, when it comes down to technology and the learning process now being conducted in classrooms. The use of iPads have been tested and the general consensus is, that the use of this portable device enhances the learning experience of students both in early development as well as covers every subject students encounter today. Featured on Edudemic.com, they printed the Teachers iPad Spectrum. In conjunction with the iPad and the use of it's apps, three components, Consume - Collaborate - Produce provided teahers and students alike the road map to a new way of learning. The way that students process knowledge through applications that involve the iPad let them consume information, collaborate with google docs or social media, and produce their own ideas using social media or podcast. What is even more astonishing is the results that students receive after being exposed to and captivated by this technological gadget, were significantly higher than students who did not have the same iPad learning experience. The iPad just doesn't look cool, it's functionality made learning fun and also teachs the skills our students will need to succeed in the rapidly evolving world of technology. The article is pretty self explanatory from the title and really promotes the use of iPads in our schools. Their reasons highlighted range from classroom lesson plans to saving paper or the weight of the textbooks in our childrens bags. Using the iPads just make sense and creates a learning enviroment our students are already prone to and fondly embrace.
